Doves Above

White Dove Releases for any occasion

Orchestrating A Typical Release

Release planning

We talk with you about your dreams and expectations for the release.

We help you decide on a release theme and how we can customize the ceremony to have special meaning for you and your family.

We assist you in choosing a poem or a written explanation of the symbolism associated with the white dove release that can be read by us or someone special at your event.

Behind the scene

Weeks and months before the event, the white doves are trained to return home from the event location.

Days before the release, the birds are offered daily baths so they are squeaky clean on release day.

We monitor weather conditions.

The day of the event

The birds take yet another bath. (They love bathing.)

We box up the birds in their ventilated training basket and load them into the car with our decorations, tables, and display or release cages

We dress up, pack cleaning supplies (just in case) and arrive 30-45 minutes before the scheduled event.

At the event

We size-up the area looking for electrical wires and other overhead obstacles that could be flight hazards. We also try to think like a bird and orient the release baskets to make the take-off flight safe for the birds and impressive for the audience and photographers.

We check in with you, the photographer, and explain how we would like to orchestrate the release to maximize photo opportunities.

The Release

When everyone is assembled, the words are spoken, you open the basket(s) hear your guests "ooh" and "awe" as they experience the whirling wings taking-off and the clapping sounds as the white doves rise into the sky.

We all watch, mesmerized, by the sight of the birds flocking together and, with luck, circling overhead.
